Training session at the Institute of Plant Genetics, Polish Academy of Sciences

In July 2024, I on science communication. These sessions were delivered to members of the Plant Genetics Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as participants of the NANOPLANT project.

During the training, I guided participants through key approaches to research dissemination, including how to define audiences and choose effective communication methods. We also discussed ways to uphold research integrity and conceptualise research impact.

I highlighted the dos and don’ts of communicating research in traditional media. We then explored the role of social media and interactive platforms, considering both their potential and risks. I also introduced several compelling case studies and practical strategies for increasing research visibility and recognition.

They were recently summarised in the NANOPLANT project newsletter.
